Karmic Awakening's research and writing arm — the frameworks, articles, and tools behind the practice, published honestly and as they're ready, not on a marketing schedule.

🎓

Grounded In: Self-Distancing

Our reflection framework draws on the University of Michigan's research on self-distancing and inner dialogue (Ethan Kross) — the psychological basis for creating enough distance from a reaction to actually examine it.

🎓

Grounded In: Immunity to Change

The distinction between insight and lasting behaviour change follows Harvard's Immunity to Change framework (Robert Kegan & Lisa Lahey) — why knowing isn't the same as doing, and what actually closes that gap.

Practice Notes

Anonymised patterns and honest observations from real sessions — published as they're substantial enough to be useful, not on a fixed schedule.

Our Perspective

The Karmic Awakening Framework is an integrative model for conscious growth — connecting reflective practice, behavioural insight, and purpose-driven development. We are less interested in offering quick answers than in building the conditions for change that lasts.

Theory of Change

Lasting results on the outside begin with a shift on the inside. Every engagement we design starts with the assumptions, beliefs, and patterns that quietly shape decisions — long before it reaches strategy or output.

Beyond IQ and EQ

We work with a third dimension of capability that most leadership development never reaches — the capacity to act with values, ethics, and wisdom, even under real pressure.

The Karmic Awakening Framework

A Perspective, Not a Formula

Rather than offering quick answers, our approach encourages individuals and organisations to cultivate awareness, examine the patterns beneath their decisions, and make intentional choices that create sustainable transformation. It draws on established thinking in behavioural change and human potential — read through a single, disciplined lens of conscious reflection.

Theory of Change

We start from a simple premise: lasting external results emerge only once internal assumptions, beliefs, and behaviours shift first. Strategy without that groundwork tends not to hold.

A Foundation of Human Needs

Human potential expands as foundational needs are met — enabling a genuine move toward purpose, meaning, and contribution, rather than performance for its own sake.

Spiritual Quotient (SQ)

Beyond IQ and EQ, we work with what researchers call Spiritual Quotient — values, ethics, interconnectedness, and the capacity to act with wisdom, particularly when the path forward isn't obvious.

Awareness informs reflection. Reflection shapes alignment. Alignment influences action. Repeated over time, this cycle is what supports development that is resilient, ethical, and genuinely meaningful — for individuals, leaders, and organisations alike.
